The article considers environmental aspects of surveying as an integral part of comprehensive approach to real estate management. Among others, these aspects include the content and sequence for executing environmental assessment of a real estate item at different stages of its lifecycle, taking into account potential ecological risks. The author specifies most significant ecological risks resulting from any kind of work undertaken in the process of design, construction, operation, reconstruction and demolition of real estate. He also presents main regulatory and procedural materials, which provide most effective nature protection solutions. The article provides data on insufficiency of domestic regulatory framework related to environmental component of surveying.
